National Level Conference - NCECEP-2013

There is huge coordination among various departments and sections for exchange of information. National level conference on "Modern Trends in Computer, Electronics and Power Engineering" was organized with the healthy amalgam of the departments of CSE, ECE and EEE on Nov 10, 2013. The aim of the conference was to realize NCCECP as a platform for budding engineers to voice their novel ideas in today's technological trends & to acquire research bent of mind, and get involved in research activities. The Chief Guest, Sri. M.Y.S Prasad, Director, SHAR, Sriharikota, emphasized problem-solving strategies, methods and techniques in an innovative approach to the students. The Guest of Honor Sri. M.P Ram Kumar Vice President, Region Power Tech, Chennai also spoke on this occasion & counseled the students to develop innovative thinking to realize their potential. The college Principal, HODs, notable research scholars and faculty played a vital part on this special occasion.

Valedictory Ceremony

The event NCCECP-13 culminated with a valedictory function with Dr. Chanaiah Professor, S.V.University, Tirupathi as Chief Guest & Dr. Uma Maheswara Reddy, Professor, SVU Tirupathi, as the Guest of Honor. Speaking on this occasion the Chief Guest stressed the importance of the acquisition of innovative communication techniques. Given the valuable information, he also spoke that the habit of attending professional conferences as such, make the participants develop intended knowledge, skills and aptitude and thus make them more successful Technocrats. The Guest of Honor Dr. Uma Maheswara Reddy, Professor, SVU Tirupathi, asked the participants to focus on research in their receptive fields. The event ended with Prize distribution ceremony with cheers all over & prizes were given to the best paper winners.

National Level Conference - NCECEP-2012

A two-day National Conference was conducted under the joint collaboration of ECE, EEE and CSE depts. on 1, 2, June 2012, on "Emerging Trends in Computers, Electronics and Power Engineering". Participating in the conference as the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony, Sri M.C. Dathan, Director, SHAR, Sriharikota said that Computer and Electronic sectors are relentlessly marching ahead in the advancement science and technology. He added that both the sectors are integrated to e-learning, e-medicine, e-purchases, e-procurement and telemedicine. Dr. A. V. S. Prasad, Principal, said that mutual exchange of ideas, information and knowledge would be possible through the conduct of such national level events. The event was marked by the release of a Souvenir. About 150 papers were submitted out of which around 60 papers were received from other states. Dr. Yadaiah, HOD, EEE, JNTU Hyderabad. Dr. Vijaya Bhaskar Rao, Chairman, IETE, Tirupati Centre, Prof. Subramanyam, Assoc. Prof., NIT, Warangal, Dr. G. Srineevasulu, Assoc. Prof., SVU, Tirupathi, HODs of ECE, CSE &EEE and faculty were present at the event.

Valedictory Ceremony

Participating as the Chief Guest at the valedictory function , Dr. D.V.N.L. Somayajulu , Professor NIT Warangal, sought to draw the attention of the students to the rapid changes taking place in modern electronics, computers and power sector. He said that such National Level Conferences would upgrade the technical abilities and skills of students as well as faculty. Another Guest of Honor Prof S.Varada Rajan, Professor. SVUniversity, Tirupati exhorted the students to emphasise on development of alternative energy resources. Prof Maruteeswar, Associate Professor EEE, urged the students to explore the ways and means to narrow the gap between the supply and demand of power. Guests gave away prizes to the participants who submitted the Best papers.
